The Put-in-Bay Road Races Reunion, a vintage sports car event, is scheduled for September 15-17, 2026 at the Put-in-Bay Airport. The Put-in-Bay tourism bureau states the event "revives the island's historic road races with vintage MGs, Porsches, Triumphs, and other classic sports cars" and that race viewing is free and open to the public. The tourism bureau notes the original races took place on the island from 1952 to 1959, and again in 1963. The organizing body publishes its own schedule and registration at pibroadrace.com.
The event runs Tuesday through Thursday, so weekday dockage and lodging demand at Put-in-Bay will run higher than a typical midweek.
