ODNR announced on April 3, 2026 that all angler daily harvest limits on Ohio's waters of Lake Erie remain unchanged for 2026 and stay in effect through April 30, 2027. The walleye limit is six fish per day with a 15-inch minimum length. Yellow perch limits are 30 fish per day in the west zone, which ODNR describes as running approximately from Toledo to Huron, 10 per day in the central zone from Huron to Fairport Harbor, and 20 per day in the east zone from Fairport Harbor to Conneaut. The 2026 walleye and yellow perch quotas were announced by the interagency Lake Erie Committee on Friday, March 27.
