Yellow perch were starting to be caught south of Green Island and near the Toledo shipping channel in 22 to 25 feet of water, with crappie rigs and minnow bait on or near the bottom producing the best catches. Kept walleye were averaging 16 to 22 inches. The report lists water temperature off Toledo at 81 degrees, off Cleveland at 73 degrees and off Erie at 76 degrees.
