The 2026 Erie County Fair opens Monday, August 10 and runs through Saturday, August 15. The fair's schedule page lists daily hours of 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Sunday, August 9 was set aside for livestock and non-livestock check-in from 5 to 8 p.m., with horses arriving at 4 p.m., and project release follows on the Sunday after the fair closes.
The county's largest annual gathering falls in peak boating week and sits about three miles inland from the Sandusky waterfront, so visitors berthing in the bay have it within easy reach.
